Grapes fermented for 17 days. We pressed the grapes into French Oak barrels: 25% new oak and 75% neutral. The Pinot Noir barrels were trucked to the Redman cellar on November 15, 2008. Upon completion of the fermentation; we racked on July 3, 2009, returning the juice to clean barrels. This process allows the wine to clarify itself, as it softens the tannins and allows the wine to develop its own beautiful characteristics and fruit flavors.
The wine aged in oak barrels for 15 months, we bottled the 2008 Redman Willamette Valley Pinot Noir on February 26, 2010
2008 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 420 cases 13.8 alc. $30
We hope you enjoy our wine as much as we enjoyed making it.
