2007 REDMAN Barbera is crafted from grapes farmed at the Czarnecki Vineyard, The Dalles, Columbia Gorge AVA, Oregon. Grown on a terraced hillside at an elevation of 1100 feet with a southwestern slope, the Czarnecki Vineyard overlooks the Columbia River Gorge. The mighty Columbia’s thermal mass and the prevailing wind from the west protect the vines from winter’s excessive cold and moderate summer’s heat. This unique site planted on volcanic soil, rich in nutrients, produces a full flavor Barbera.
