REDMAN 2015 Oregon grape growing season PRODUCED A STELLAR CROP! All in all this was one of those all too rare vintages where you get high yields and exceptional quality. I knew it would be a different kind of year when we had bud break in mid March. A very early, hot growing season, with bloom by the end of May, at least three weeks ahead of the 'norm'. Veraison began the first of August and all complete the third week of August. Pristine clean fruit, bountiful yields, moderate high alcohols, lower acids and no rain. Thankfully the weather was slightly cooler during the final ripening hang time, nearly perfect! Harvest was the earliest ever in the Redman Vineyard, September 10, 2015, for our first picking, it continued throughout the next two weeks.

The 2015 growing season produced Pinot Noir with intense colors, beautiful fruit, concentration and suppleness. My white: Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Arneis are fully ripe, texturally rich and well balanced.

The 2015 Vintage delivered exceptional fruit quality!
